半導体が世界的に不足している影響を受けて、大手自動車メーカーが相次いで減産に追い込まれています。　
Due to the shortage of semiconductors globally, major automakers are forced to take turns cutting production.
トヨタ自動車ではアメリカ・テキサス工場で生産している北米向けのSUVについてカーナビ用の半導体が不足し、今月から生産の減少を見込んでいます。　
Toyota Motor is in short of semiconductors for the SUV navigation system for North America produced at the factory in Texas, America so production is expected to be cut down from this month.
ホンダでも今月から主力の「フィット」を減産する見通しのほか、日産の「ノート」にも影響が出ていて、「半導体の確保に努めている」としています。　
Honda also has plan to reduce production of its flagship "Fit" model from this month, and Nissan's "Note" is also affected, saying "We are trying to secure semiconductors."
自動車メーカーの関係者は「新型コロナの影響から回復が進んでいるのに残念」として、影響の長期化を懸念しています。　
"We feel very sorry though we are recovering from the effects of the new strain corona virus," said carmakers' stakeholders and expressed concern that the effects would last longer.
半導体は高速通信「5G」の機器やスマートフォンのほか、自宅用のゲーム機器の生産などで需要が急速に拡大し、世界的に不足しています。
