富山市では、特産「呉羽梨」の主力品種・幸水の収穫が始まりました。

今年は平年よりも糖度が高くおいしい梨に仕上がったということです。　
The hilly area of Kurehayama, which bisects the Toyama Plain, is a thriving pear production area and harvesting has begun in preparation for the first shipment.
富山平野を二分する呉羽山の丘陵地では梨の生産が盛んで、初出荷に向けて収穫作業が始まりました。　
The pears harvested here are shipped around the country as "Kurehanashi", but the main Kosui variety is especially famous for its high quality and sweet taste.
ここでとれた梨は「呉羽梨」として全国に出荷されますが、特に主力品種の幸水は品質の良さと上品な甘さが人気です。　
This year pears flowered quite early, so it was harvested 6 days earlier than last year.
