台湾周辺では、23日から中国軍の軍事演習が始まっています。

台湾国防部は「一日に49機の中国軍機が確認された」と発表しました。　
Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense announced the discovery of 49 Chinese military aircraft in one day.
台湾国防部によりますと、台湾周辺の上空では24日午前6時までの24時間のうちに、49機の中国軍機が確認されたということです。　
According to Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense, 49 Chinese military aircraft were seen in the sky over Taiwan in the 24 hours up to 6 a.m. on the 24th.
そのうち35機は台湾が定める中間線を超えて台湾本島に近付いたということです。　
Among them, 35 aircraft crossed the median line established by Taiwan and approached the mainland.
中国軍による演習は台湾本島のほか、台湾が実効支配する金門島などの離島周辺でも行われていて、海上では19隻の艦艇と7隻の海警船が確認されたということです。　
Chinese military exercises are being conducted not only on Taiwan's main island but also around outlying islands such as Kinmen Island, which Taiwan effectively controls, and confirmed 19 warships and 7 Coast guard ship has been confirmed at sea.
台湾国防部は、台湾の沿岸に対艦ミサイルを配備し、レーダーや哨戒機を使って演習の動向を厳しく監視しているとしています。
Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense has deployed anti-ship missiles along Taiwan's coast and is closely monitoring the exercise with radar and patrol aircraft.
