新型コロナウイルスの位置付けが5月8日から「5類」に移行するのに伴い、厚生労働省は流行状況の把握について、季節性インフルエンザと同じ医療機関を活用する案を専門部会に示しました。
政府は新型コロナの流行の把握について、
5類への引き下げですべての医療機関から患者の情報が報告される現在の方法から一部の医療機関に絞る「定点把握」に変更する方針です。
厚労省は今月9日に開いた専門部会で、この「定点把握」をインフルエンザで指定されているのと同じ医療機関を活用する案を示しました。
部会では、この案について賛成する意見が多数を占めました。
今後、指定された一部の医療機関が感染者数を報告し、国立感染症研究所が週に1回、発表するということです。
