韓国で旅客船セウォル号が沈没した事故から10年となる16日、追悼式典が行われました。　
The memorial service was held on the 16th, marking the 10th anniversary of the sinking of the Sewol passenger ship in South Korea.
2014年4月に起きたセウォル号沈没事故では修学旅行中の高校生ら299人が死亡、5人が今も行方不明のままです。　
The sinking of the Sewol ferry in April 2014 killed 299 people, including high school students on a picnic, and five people are still missing.
発生から10年となる今月16日、韓国では各地で追悼行事が行われました。　
On the 16th of this month, 10 years since the accident, commemorative events were held across Korea.
生徒らの高校があるソウル近郊の安山市では、遺族らが「忘れずに記憶してほしい」と思いを述べるとともに、政府に対して事故原因の究明を求めました。　
In Ansan, a city near Seoul where the student's high school is located, bereaved families expressed hope that the victims would be remembered and called on the government to investigate the cause of the accident.
尹錫悦大統領は16日の閣議で「10年が過ぎたが、その日の状況が今も目に浮かびます」
At the cabinet meeting on the 16th, President Yoon Seok-Yeol said “10 years have passed but the situation that day is still vivid in my eyes,”
「犠牲者の冥福を祈り、遺族の皆様に改めて心からお見舞い申し上げます」とコメントしています。
“I pray for the souls of the victims to rest in peace, and I once again extend my sincere condolences to the bereaved families.”
