日本の高齢者の人口が3627万人に達しました。
総人口に占める割合も3割近くに上り、過去最高を更新しました。
高齢者の割合は世界で最高です。
19日の「敬老の日」を前に、総務省は15日現在の65歳以上の高齢者の人口が過去最多の3627万人に達したと発表しました。
男女別では女性が2053万人で、男性より多くなっています。
また、総人口が前年に比べて82万人減少しているなかで、高齢者の割合は29.1％と過去最高を更新し、世界の200の国と地域のなかでも最高を記録しています。
一方、高齢就業者の数も18年連続で増加し、909万人と過去最多です。
さらに、高齢者の就業率については65歳から69歳が初めて50％を超えたということです。
