ミスターレイジーはベッドが大好き。
ベッドで一日過ごすこともあるくらい。
ようやく起きたようです。
随分遅い朝ご飯ですね。
紅茶を入れようとやかんを火にかけました。
でも、 ミスターレイジーの住むこのスリーピーランドでは、
お湯が沸くのになんと二時間もかかるのです。
待っている間、 ミスターレイジーは庭の椅子で過ごします。
あらあら、 さっき起きたばかりなのに。。。
「 起きなさい！ 起きて、 起きて、 起きて！ 」
せっかく気持ちよく寝ていたのに、 二人の男に起こされました。
「 寝てばかりではいけません！ さあ、 こちらへ」
でも、 レイジーは驚きのあまり、 どうしていいのか分かりません。
「 薪を割って、 ベッドを整えて、 庭を掃除して、 お皿を洗って！ 」
「 そうそう、 服の修理もしないと」
「 えっ！ 」
ミスターレイジーはもっとびっくりしてしまいました。
「 もう、 大変！ 」
ミスターレイジーは一度にこんなにたくさんの仕事を任されるのは、 初めてでした。
かわいそうなミスターレイジー。
ミスターレイジーすごい！
仕事を全部終わらせたようです。
そこへビジーとバストルが。
嫌な予感がします。
「 次は散歩の時間です」
ミスターレイジーは仕方なく長い散歩に出かけました。
何マイルも何マイルも歩かされて、
あまりに歩き過ぎて、 足が棒になってしまいそうです。
かわいそうなミスターレイジー。
やっと家に戻って来ました。
そこへまたビジーとバストルが。
「 さあ、 次はジョギングをしましょう！ 」
「 よい！ 」
気が付くとミスターレイジーは庭の椅子に座っていました。
どうやら、 悪い夢を見ていたようです。
ビジーもバストルも元々いなかったのです。
ホッとしたミスターレイジーは朝ご飯を食べるためにキッチンへ向かいました。
さあ、 ようやく朝ご飯が食べられます。
あれ？ 起きなさい！ 起きて、 起きて、 起きて！
