企業の間で取引されるモノの価格を示す先月の企業物価指数は、去年と比べて5.1％上昇しました。
The Corporate Goods Price Index, which indicates the prices of goods traded among businesses, rose 5.1% last month compared to last year.
伸び率は縮小したものの、2年3カ月連続で前の年を上回りました。　
Although the growth rate contracted, it was still higher than the previous year for the second year and third consecutive month.
日銀が発表した5月の企業物価は2020年を100とした指数で119.1と、1年前から5.1％上昇しました。　
The Corporate Commodity Price Index released by the Bank of Japan in May was 119.1 with 2020 at 100, up 5.1% from a year ago.
エネルギー価格の伸びが一服したことや価格改定の多い4月の後ということもあり、伸び率は5カ月連続で縮小しました。　
Growth has slowed for the fifth consecutive month, partly due to a slowdown in energy prices and after April, when there were multiple price corrections.
しかし、指数は2年3カ月連続で前の年を上回り、依然として過去最高に近い水準です。　
However, the index has outperformed the previous year for the second year and three months in a row, and remains near record highs.
包装材や物流費の価格転嫁が進む飲食料品のほか、燃料費上昇の影響が残る電力や都市ガス、鉄鋼業などが上昇要因となっています。
In addition to food and beverage products, where packaging and distribution costs are being passed on to consumers, the electricity, city gas, and steel industries, which are still affected by rising fuel costs, are also contributing to the increase.
