昼食会は正午ごろから約1時間、皇居の宮殿で開かれ、安倍総理や閣僚など約40人が出席しました。
The luncheon was held at the Royal Palace at noon, lasted about 1 hour, 40 people including the Prime Minister and Ministers attended.
陛下は冒頭で「皆さんが国民のために日夜、国務に精励されてきたことを誠に御苦労に思います」とねぎらわれました。
At the beginning of the luncheon, the Emperor expressed his gratitude "I am very grateful to you for your hard working for the people and for national affairs."
また、即位の一連の行事に尽力した人たちに感謝を伝えられました。
He also thanked everyone for helping in preparing the coronation.
その後、陛下は安倍総理と麻生副総理と懇談しながら昼食を取られました。
After that, the Emperor had lunch while chatting with Prime Minister Abe and Deputy Prime Minister Aso.
この昼食会は毎年恒例のもので、秋篠宮さまは皇嗣として初めて出席されました。
This luncheon is an annual event and this is the first time Prince Akishinomiya attended this event.
