高輪ゲートウェイ駅はJRの品川駅と田町駅の間に建設中で、山手線と京浜東北線が乗り入れます。
Takanawa Gateway Station is under construction between JR Shinagawa Station and Tamachi Station, Yamanote Line and Keihin Tohoku Line will be able to be put into use.
JR東日本は、来年3月14日に高輪ゲートウェイ駅を開業すると発表しました。
JR East announced it would open the Takanawa Gateway station on the 14th March next year.
山手線の新駅開業は1971年の西日暮里駅以来、約半世紀ぶりです。

開業後、京浜東北線は一日8本増便されます。
After this station is opened, the Keihin-Tohoku line will have 8 trains more per day.
従来の本数で運行予定の山手線は停車時間などを調整し、所要時間はこれまでと変わらないということです。
