バービー人形を作るおもちゃメーカーのアメリカのマテル社は3月8日の国際女性デーに世界で活躍する女性を発表していて、過去に日本からは黒柳徹子さんや大坂なおみさんも選ばれています。　
Mattel, a Barbie toy maker, announced the world's most active women on International Women's Day on March 8, and Tetsuko Kuroyanagi and Naomi Osaka were previously selected from Japan.
今年のテーマは「起業家」で、アメリカで女性起業家の育成を手掛ける堀江愛利さんが選ばれました。　
This year's theme is "entrepreneurship," and Airi Horie, who trains women entrepreneurs in the United States, was chosen.
「自分のアイデアを持ち、冒険心を持ち、自分のしたいことを続けられる女の子、女性が増えることが起業家の数、未来を作っていく女性たちの数を増やしていけるんじゃないか」

堀江さんは日本でも今月に事業を立ち上げ、女子高校生向けに起業家精神を伝えるプログラムの提供などを始めます。
Ms. Horie will be opening a business in Japan this month and will begin offering entrepreneurship programs to female high school students.
