ミャンマーからのビール事業撤退を決めていたキリンホールディングスはミャンマー国軍系企業と合弁で運営するビール会社の株式について、すべて譲渡することを決めました。
キリンホールディングスはミャンマー国軍系の企業と合弁で運営していたビール会社「ミャンマー・ブルワリー」のすべての株式をおよそ224億円で同社に譲渡すると発表しました。
キリンは去年2月にミャンマーで起きたクーデターを受けて事業撤退方針を公表し、外部企業への株式売却などを検討していました。
ただ、売却にはミャンマー政府の承認などが必要で法令の制約もあることから早期の合弁解消は難しいと判断し、合弁会社に株式を譲渡することにしました。
キリンホールディングスの磯崎社長は「公表していた期限内で最適な手段により決着できることに安堵している」とコメントしています。
