ユニクロはアメリカの税関が同社の一部の綿製のシャツの輸入を差し止めたことについて「強制労働が確認された事実はない」との見解を示しました。

In January of this year, at the Los Angeles port, UNIQLO received a ban on the import of clothing and other items from US customs, related to the organization in China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region,
一部の綿製のシャツが輸入差し止めとなりました。　
some types of cotton shirts are temporarily suspended from import.
ユニクロによりますと、この製品で使われている綿は中国以外の国で生産されましたが、縫製は中国の工場で行われたということです。　
According to UNIQLO, the cotton used in this product is made in countries other than China, but the sewing is done at a factory in China.
ユニクロは当該製品の原材料の原産地証明書類や縫製に至までのあらゆる情報を提示しましたが、輸入は認められなかったとしています。　
UNIQLO has provided certificates of origin of raw materials and information until the product is sewn, but import has not been approved yet.
ユニクロは「弊社製品の生産過程において強制労働が確認された事実はありません。今後もアメリカ当局と協働していく」とコメントしています。
UNIQLO said, “In fact, the problem that forced labor in the production of our products was confirm is not true. We will continue to work with US authorities."
