ヨーロッパのスペインやポルトガルでは記録的な熱波が続き、スペインの南部では気温が47度を超えました。
Record heatwaves continued in Spain and Portugal in Europe, with temperatures above 47 degrees Celsius in southern Spain.

パンダは涼しい環境を好むため、40度を超える気温にはグッタリの様子で、飼育員がスイカを凍らせたアイスを作って手渡すとビンシンは喜んで食べ始めます。　
The pandas prefer a cooler environment, so when the temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius, they seem to be exhausted and when the keeper makes frozen watermelon ice cream and hands it to Binxin it begins to eat it with delight.
ただ、あまりの暑さでアイスが溶けてしまい、棒から落ちてしまいました。
However, it was so hot that the ice cream melted and fell off the bar. 　
それでも器用にアイスを拾うと、再び食べ始めて暑さをしのぎます。　
Still, it dexterously pick up the ice cream and start eating again to beat the heat.

熱波は来週の月曜日まで続く見通しで、気象当局は熱中症や山火事などに警戒を呼び掛けています。
