新宿区では年末の恒例となっているクリーン大作戦が今朝行われ、 住人ら二千人以上が掃除に汗を流しました。
新宿区では街を訪れる大勢の人達に、 安心して気持ちよく買い物などを楽しんでもらおうと、 定期的に歌舞伎町クリーン作戦などを行っています。
今日の年末クリーン大作戦もそうした活動の一環で、 今回で十一回目です。
朝から新宿区東口など三箇所に、 商店街や町会、 ボランティアなどおよそ百十団体、 二千三百人が集まり、
ゴミ袋やゴミはさみ、 箒などを手に一斉に道路の清掃を行いました。
みんながなんかこう捨てないような綺麗な街になって欲しいなという風に思います。
新宿区ではこれら一連のクリーン作戦によって、
ゴミの量が大幅に減ってきており、 参加者達は綺麗な街新宿を目指し爽やかな汗を流していました。
