目の前に広がる爽やかなライムグリーン。

こちらは宮城県加美町にある「やくらいガーデン」で撮影されたコキア畑です。　
This is a field of kochia taken at "Yakurai Garden" in Kami town, Miyagi prefecture.
秋には真っ赤に色づくコキアですが、今は緑一色です。　
Kochia, which turned bright red in the fall, has now turned green.
そして、1万株ほどのコキア畑の先には見渡す限りのヒマワリ。
And beside the field with 10,000 kochia plants, there are sunflowers that are visible to the naked eye.
鮮やかな黄色が目にまぶしいほどです。　
Attractive bright yellow color.
実はこの直前、満開を迎えたところを台風8号が直撃していました。　
In fact, just before that, typhoon No. 8 made landfall where the flowers were in full bloom.
「今回のヒマワリは強かったもんで、流される部分はほとんどなかった。今は結構きれいに咲いていますね。茎も太くなって、強く成長してくれましたね」　
“The sunflowers are very strong this time, barely washed away by the storm. Now they are blooming beautifully. The trunk is getting thicker and stronger.”
例年より元気に育ったという、およそ60万本のヒマワリ。　
About 600,000 sunflowers are said to have grown healthier than usual.
台風にも負けずに全て咲きそろっていて、まさに今が一番の見頃だということです。
They are all in bloom despite the storm, and now is the best time to see them.
