政府は新型コロナの対策本部を開き、屋外で2メートル以上の距離が取れる場合などは「マスクは不要」とする基本的対処方針を正式に決定しました。　
The government has opened its headquarters for corona virus countermeasures and officially decided that the basic response policy is "no need to wear a mask" when keeping a distance of 2 meters or more when outdoors.
マスクが不要になるのは屋外で2メートル以上の距離が取れる場合や会話をしない場合で、特に夏については「熱中症予防の観点からマスクを外すことを推奨」します。　
There is no need to wear a mask when you can be 2 meters or more away outdoors or when you are not talking, especially in the summer.
屋内でも2メートル以上の距離があり、会話をほとんど行わなければマスクの着用は不要です。　
Even when indoors, if you keep a distance of 2 meters or more, you do not need to wear a mask if you rarely talk.
一方で、屋外でも2メートル以上の距離が取れず会話を行う場合などは引き続き、マスクの着用が推奨されます。　
On the other hand, it is still advisable to wear a mask if you are chatting outdoors as you cannot keep a distance of 2 meters or more.
また、学校については「十分な身体的距離が確保できる場合や体育の授業ではマスクの着用は必要ない」と明記されました。
In addition, with regard to schools, there is already a regulation that "masks are not required when sufficient physical distancing can be ensured or during a physical education classroom."
