President Trump to acquire TikTok, potential for China to lower tariffs

US President Trump has shown the possibility of lowering additional tariffs on China in order to realize the acquisition of the Chinese video sharing app TikTok
Regarding TikTok, a law banning use within the United States came into effect on January 19th, when its parent company ByteDance failed to sell its American business, and the service was suspended for a while.
Trump has since signed an executive order that will defer the law until April 5th.
Trump said that ”some agreement will be reached” referring to the possibility of reducing tariffs on China to get the Chinese government to approve the takeover negotiations.
