あてのない旅たび

Purposeless journey

とある里さとに年老としおいて働はたらけなくなった馬うまがおりました

A horse in a certain village was aged and unable to work.

ある晩ばん、家いえの主人しゅじんが「働はたらけなくなった馬うまを生いかしておく理由りゆうも無ないから、殺ころして皮かわでも剥はごう」と会話かいわしているのを聞きいた馬うまは、恐おそろしさに駆かられ馬屋うまやを破やぶって逃にげ出だしました

逃にげ出だして命拾いのちびろいしたのは良よいものの何処どこにも行いく当あてが無なく、仕方しかたなしにとぼとぼ歩あるいていると、馬うまと同おなじように年老としおいて働はたらけなくなり、殺ころされそうになって逃にげ出だした犬いぬと、猫ねこと、ニワトリに出会であいました

3匹ひきと1羽わが様子ようすを伺うかがうと、二ふた人りの泥棒どろぼうが盗ぬすんだ千両箱せんりょうばこを前まえに酒盛さかもりをしているところでした

それを見みていた猫ねこが皆みなに提案ていあんしました

「みんなであの泥棒どろぼうを驚おどろかして、あの千両箱せんりょうばこを奪うばってやろう」

それで馬うまの上うえに犬いぬが乗のり、犬いぬの上うえに猫ねこが、猫ねこの上うえにニワトリが乗のり、皆みなで一斉いっせいに大声おおごえで「ヒヒーン！」「ワンワンワン！」「ニャーゴ！」「コケッコー！」と叫さけびましたら、泥棒どろぼうはその大声おおごえにすっかり胆きもを潰つぶし、お宝たからを放置ほうちして一目散いちもくさんに逃にげてしまいました

まんまとお宝たからをせしめた3匹びきと1羽わは、それからもずっと一緒いっしょに旅たびを続つづけたと言いう事ことです
